+ How do I make a booking?

It’s v simple! Just use our online booking system.

+ Are the lights easy to install?

Yes they are indeed – it’s as simple as plug & play! In terms of display, while we don’t provide frames to hang them, there are lots of options, as they are so lightweight and come with pre-drilled screw holes so can easily be screwed to the wall using some screws and a drill.

Some of the lights can be hung, as you would a painting or in the right surroundings they can be propped up against a wall or mounted on a shelf.

If you are leaning the light against a wall, please make sure it is a safe distance away from passers-by for their health and safety and to prevent damage to the light.

We do not recommend suspending the larger lights in mid-air, as due to their length and weight (5.5 kg or more) they can bow. The larger lights require a surface to lean on. They come with 2 meters of transparent cable (and an additional 1 meter of black cable) which can be plugged directly into any electrical socket through a 240V AC adaptor – safe for indoor use. This gives you plenty of scope in terms of where you display it – just make sure you have access to a nearby power socket. While you can certainly display our lights on stands and temporary walls, please note we do not provide these and you would need to source them elsewhere.

+ Do you guys offer installation?

No need – the lights are so easy to install – you won’t need us! We’ll arrange for the light to be delivered to you on your chosen day and leave the set-up to you – it’s as easy as 1 2 3!

+ Can I put my light outside?

Our lights are suitable for indoor use only.

+ How long can I hire a light for?

We have a minimum 5-day hire package. If you would like the light for longer, just pop us an email at hire@bagandbones.co.uk

+ Talk me through delivery...

We use ParcelForce as our preferred provider as they have the added benefit of being able to deliver / return to your local post office. Our standard courier delivery is up to 24hours (please note this means that Parcelforce can deliver anytime up to the 24 hour timeframe). Please note that delivery timescales for mainland UK deliveries are extended when delivery is to be made to certain parts of the UK. Your delivery is subject to the Parcelforce T&Cs. You will be emailed a unique Parcelforce tracking number once the order has been dispatched. You will be able to track your order using www.parcelforce.com/track-trace.

If you are not in, then Parcelforce drivers can leave your order with a neighbour or named contact. However, if these options fail your package will be taken back to Parcelforce’s Depot or your local post office and you will have a card put through your letterbox detailing where to collect from.

+ Is there an additional charge for delivery?

Nope! We like to keep things simple so what you see is what you pay! The £195 includes everything: hire and P&P - there and back!

+ How do I pay?

+ Where are you based?

We’re based in London but we deliver throughout mainland UK.

+ Can I pick up/drop off the light myself?

Yes, you sure can! Our studio is at 111 Oaklands Road, London, W7 2DT. Drop us an email to enquire about your own collection / return. Our studio is open Monday – Friday 10am – 4pm.

+ Do you deliver outside the UK?

Not at the moment. But if your event is overseas, why not contact one of our designers for a bespoke quote. We would love to make a customised light for you, that you would then keep after the event and no problem to fit it with an overseas plug. We can even send it direct to you venue so it is there waiting for you when you arrive. Just pop us an email at hello@bagandbones.co.uk

+ What happens if I damage the light?

If the light is lost or damaged, you will liable to pay the cost of replacement.

+ Do you take a security deposit?

Yes, we take a security deposit from you at booking. Just return the light on time and as you received it and we’ll refund your deposit right back to you.

+ I can’t see the design I’m after for my event. Can I order a bespoke light instead?

Hells yeah! Whether it’s a brand, logo or slogan, a favourite lyric or quote – or even that trademark catchphrase everyone knows you for – we can work with you to bring your vision for your customised light to life. Simply drop us an email at hello@bagandbones.co.uk

+ How long does it take to make a bespoke light?

The lead time for customised lights is 6-8 weeks from point of payment. Prices start as £225 and are priced per letter, which can range from £20 - £75 per letter, depending on which font you choose. Answer Here

+ Do your lights comply with LED safety legislation and regulations?

Yes-sir-ree! All of our lights adhere to EU legislation (IEC 60598-1). And all of our products contain the necessary CE mark and are PAT tested.

All of our production procedures are controlled by ISO9000 Quality Control System.

+ Do your lights comply with LED safety legislation and regulations?

The wattage ranges from 16W, for the smaller designs e.g. flamingo, up to 100W, for the large text designs.

+ Do you have insurance?

Yes, we have full public liability insurance cover.

+ What’s your cancellation policy?

We take full payment up front, but that doesn’t mean you can’t change your mind and cancel. Just drop us an email 28 days before the event and we’ll give you a full refund. Cancellations after this date are not eligible for a refund.
